Responsibilities

  • High-speed (100G/200G/400G/800G Ethernet Interface) system quality assurance ensures on-time delivery and maintains high quality.
  • Set testing cases and standards for product validation and design qualifications.
  • Conduct functional, performance, compatibility testing, and comprehensive testing of products to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Set compatibility of different routers, switches, cable accessories, storage, and version control.
  • Analyze test results, identify problems, and work proactively during troubleshooting and problem identification.
  • Document test procedures, checking results, and findings accurately for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a high level of quality assurance throughout the testing process and contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in EE or CS with knowledge of Networking / Radio / Linux operation is a big plus.
  • 2+ years of working experience in the hardware test or design quality test field.
  • Familiarity with SFP/SFP+/SFP28/QSFP28/QSFP28-DD, OSFP, and Mid-Board Optical Modules high-frequency transceiver validation.
  • Familiar with lab instruments, including networking theory, traffic generator, and cable transceivers.
  • AC/DC/CRPS power reliability cycling test.
  • Experience in environmental stress testing, especially thermal and reliability systems.
  • Understand the requirements for EMC, ESD, surge, and safety testing.
  • Proficiency in using a multimeter, thermal chamber, data log, and EMC compliance relative.
  • Familiar with multimeter, Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, thermal chamber, power supply, Ethernet traffic analyzer, and electronic load.
  • Enjoy hands-on installation of electronic and consumer tech products, and analyzing their weaknesses from a user’s perspective.
  • Possesses good emotional intelligence and excellent cross-departmental communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiar with PCB layout for power, high-speed signal, analog signal, and RF signal.
  • Familiar with the SI of high-speed signals such as DDR memory, USB, MIPI-HS, PCIE, and SFI.
  • Love to try and play with new technology and learn the ropes to be the lead test engineer.
