Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for talented Java Developer for the UniFi Team.
You’ll be working on the UniFi application back-end to develop efficient, scalable and maintainable features.
The project stack: Java 25; Spring Boot 4.0; PostgreSQL; Github Actions; Go.
Responsibilities:
- REST API development
- Develop integrations with network device firmware and other UniFi OS applications
- Participate in all phases of development, including feature design and testing
- Code reviews for other team members
Requirements:
- Senior-level engineering experience, typically 5+ years shipping production systems
- Strong problem-solving and systems thinking - you can break down ambiguous problems and design good solutions
- Good understanding of SOLID principles
- Experience in web application development
- Daily, fluent use of AI coding assistants as a core part of your workflow
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Fluent in Czech
- Java and Spring framework knowledge
- Advanced knowledge of networking
- Familiarity with storage systems, including block or object storage
- Experience with Bash and Unix
