Role Summary
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods from suppliers up to delivery. This role ensures timely delivery, accurate documentation, cost efficiency, and compliance with regulations.


Responsibilities

1. Transportation & Distribution Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and track inbound and outbound shipments arrangement.
  • Liaise with contract manufacturing, freight forwarders, and trucking service providers.
  • Monitor pick up and delivery schedules.

2. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination

  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for stock receiving and shipping status.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliations.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and verify shipping documentation (B/L, invoices, packing lists).
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and internal policies.
  • Documentation collection 

4. Communication & Problem-Solving

  • Act as a liaison between suppliers, warehouses, and customers to resolve shipment issues.
  • Track and report key logistics KPIs (lead times, freight costs, on-time delivery).

5. Order & System Administration

  • Record and update PO transactions in the ERP system.


Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
  • Proficiency in logistics software (especially Netsuite).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in both domestic and international logistics.
  • Data analysis skills for cost and performance tracking.
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
