Mechanical DQA Engineer is responsible for all mechanical reliability and quality test plans and executions. This role has a considerable effect on new product development to help the team explore potential risks during the NPI stage.
Responsibilities
- Review PDR and generate a mechanical test plan
- Evaluate the product’s reliability and quality during the NPI stage
- Work with the team to resolve reliability and quality issues
- Create and maintain relevant documentation
- Do the research on safety/reliability standards and improve the test plan accordingly
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of Mechanical DQA engineering
- Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering
- Good understanding of reliability test standards (Theory / Approach / Criteria)
- Excellent problem analysis and solving capabilities
- Great communication skills to work with the team and 3rd party labs
- Passionate about exploring new regulations/standards/technologies
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented personality
- Fair English speaking and writing skills
Technical Requirements
- Work experience in outdoor equipment/power products/automotive devices
- Practical experience of dealing with problems with statistical tools, such as Six Sigma, DOE, Gauge R&R, DFMEA, etc.
