Role Summary

The role will independently work with cross-functional teams to lead multiple projects at the same time, from ID concept to mass production in fast-paced product development cycles for delivering great products to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Create and evaluate new product concepts
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of material, component, and process
• 3D modeling and engineering drawing drafting
• Troubleshooting of design, tooling, and production issues
• Perform tests and conduct engineering analysis
• Competitive product analysis (Component/Material/Process/Mechanism/BOM Cost)
• Explore and analyze new material, technology, and manufacturing processes

Basic Qualifications

• Expressed interest in mechanical engineering in the working industry
• Demonstrated aptitude for creative, “out of the box” thinking
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn new things
• Understanding of basic mechanics, material science, tooling, and manufacturing. 
• Good root-cause analysis and problem-solving skills
• Great communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional team members and suppliers
• Fluency in English

Technical Requirements

• Proficient in 3D CAD tools (Solidworks preferred)
• Great ability to solve problems with statistical tools.
• Experienced in display/weatherproof/rugged/sensor product design.
