Responsibilities
- System quality assurance to ensure on-time delivery and maintain high quality.
- Set testing cases and standards for reliability and design qualifications.
- Set compatibility of IP CAM / Doorbell / Camera security Products
- Set standards for ORT labs regarding temperature, thermal, reliability, ESD, surge, etc.
- Proficient in using oscilloscopes, electronic loads, LCR meters, power meters, and safety testing equipment (Hi-Pot, insulation resistance testers).
- Capable of writing test plans and conducting failure analysis (FA, Failure Analysis).
- Proficiency in MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
- Experience in environmental stress testing, especially thermal and reliability systems, and IK Impact and IPXX tests.
- Understanding of UL, CE, FCC, IEC60068, MIL-STD-810G, ISTA, ASTM, ISO/TS16949 standards.
- Understand the requirements for ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), Surge Test, EMI/EMC (Electromagnetic Interference / Compatibility), and safety testing.
Minimum Qualifications (MUST-haves) :
- Bachelor's degree & Good English communication skills
- An EE / IE degree is better, with knowledge of Networking / Radio / Linux operation
- Proficiency in using a multimeter, thermal chamber, data log, and EMC compliance relative
- 5+ years of working experience in the hardware test or design quality test field
- Love to try and play with new technology and learn the ropes to be the lead test engineer
- Familiar with multimeter, Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, thermal chamber, power supply, Ethernet traffic analyzer, and electronic load
- Good knowledge of setting wireless and Ethernet testing cases.
- Experience in hardware testing on POE or battery-powered devices is a plus.
- Experience in PoE testing, ESD, thermal testing, power consumption testing, RMA failure analysis and tracking, reliability testing, 2nd Source verification, mechanical inspection, etc.
- Enjoy hands-on installation of electronic and consumer tech products, and analyzing their weaknesses from a user’s perspective.
- Possesses good emotional intelligence and excellent cross-departmental communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of MTBF calculation/test
- Familiar with multimeter, Oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, thermal chamber, power supply, Ethernet traffic analyzer, and electronic load
- Good knowledge of setting wireless and Ethernet testing cases.
- Experience in Hardware/Firmware testing on Camera, IP CAM, Wireless related enterprise products, is a plus
- Experience in RMA failure analysis and tracking, DOE(Design of Experiments), 2nd Source verification, mechanical inspection, etc.
- Creative and passionate about exploring new technology applications, unafraid to break conventions and embrace challenges.
- Proficient in using tools such as Python, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino.
