Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Manager to drive platform-level cloud services that sit at the core of authentication, authorization, and access control. This role focuses on building secure, reliable, and scalable access systems designed for large-scale organizational use, including enterprise and MSP-style deployments.
The ideal candidate brings strong product ownership, is comfortable operating in complex and ambiguous environments, and is able to respond effectively to urgent, high-pressure situations when critical access or security issues arise.
Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own the product vision and roadmap for platform-level authentication and access services
- Define long-term strategy while balancing near-term delivery, technical constraints, and security requirements
- Make sound product decisions under time pressure when urgent issues impact customers or platform stability
Authentication & Access Platform
- Drive features related to authentication, authorization, and access management across multiple products or services
- Design access models that support complex organizational structures and delegated administration
- Partner with security and infrastructure teams to evaluate trade-offs and mitigate access-related risks
Enterprise & MSP Access Models
- Define and evolve access models that support:
- Organization, tenant, and sub-organization boundaries
- Role-based and group-based access control
- Separation of admin, operator, auditor, and end-user permissions
- Support MSP-style scenarios where one entity manages access across multiple customer organizations
- Ensure strong isolation between organizations while enabling centralized visibility and control
Execution Under Pressure
- Handle urgent product and access-related issues, such as outages, security incidents, or critical regressions
- Quickly assess impact, define priorities, and align cross-functional teams on immediate actions
- Balance short-term mitigation with long-term product and platform improvements
Cross-functional Execution
- Work closely with engineering teams to define scope, milestones, and delivery plans\
- Actively track execution, identify risks early, and drive mitigation
- Coordinate with QA, support, and operations teams to ensure smooth launches and operational readiness
Quality, Reliability & User Impact
- Define success metrics and validate outcomes through usage data and feedback
- Ensure access changes are observable, testable, and operationally safe
- Continuously improve platform usability for both administrators and end users
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in cloud, platform, or infrastructure products
- Strong experience owning authentication and access-related products designed for large-scale organizational deployment, including enterprise and MSP-style environments
- Hands-on experience with enterprise access models, including role-based and group-based access control, organization and tenant boundaries, and delegated administration
- Solid understanding of access lifecycle management, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and permission changes
- Experience working closely with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to meet reliability, scalability, and compliance expectations
- Ability to translate complex access requirements into clear product requirements, rollout strategies, and migration plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with identity and authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, MFA, and passkeys
- Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures and strict access isolation models
- Experience supporting managed service provider (MSP) environments or delegated administration models
- Experience in planning and executing large-scale access model changes, including backward compatibility and migration
